Arno Kortschot started to build furniture as a development directly related to his sculptures. He had worked for many years with zinc and took on the challenge to make furniture with this atypical material; creating furniture and usable pieces that were, at the same time, minimal sculptures. His work can be found in both galleries and design stores, with standard features as well as custom-made art-furniture objects. Buying his works for its artistic representation and for its usefulness in their homes, people like the possibilities of enjoying art and at the same time the pleasure of using it. |
